In solar-first mode, PV charges the battery and feeds loads, with the grid acting as backup; combined PV+AC charge current reaches 100-160A depending on model, and the lithium CAN/RS485 link lets the inverter match LFP battery charge profiles automatically.
The two share identical power and charging specifications — the difference is parallel capability: the 6.5KW-P includes a parallel interface and can run up to 9 units in parallel, while the standard 6.5KW operates standalone. If you plan to expand capacity later, choose the -P version; the 5KW model also supports 9-unit parallel operation.
The series provides eight major protection functions covering overload, short-circuit, over/under-voltage, over-temperature, and battery protection, with overload handling from 102% to over 150% load per model.
