Height selection depends on sight lines and pathway context. 600mm is ideal for open plazas and wide walkways where a lower profile maintains unobstructed views while still defining the path edge. 800mm is the most common choice — visible above low hedging and suitable for standard pedestrian corridors. 1000mm provides the highest visibility for commercial promenades, vehicle-adjacent pathways, and sites where bollards serve a dual function as visual barriers. All three heights share identical internals (30 LEDs, 8000mAh battery, 5W panel) — choose purely for aesthetic and sight-line requirements.
Die-cast aluminum is a single-piece molten-metal casting — dramatically stronger than extruded profiles (hollow tubes with end caps) or sheet-metal fabrications (folded boxes with welded seams).
